As a former principal at Gordon Brothers Group and CEO of GB Fixed Asset Solutions, and now The Gordon Company, Jeff and his century old family heritage represent a long standing symbol of liquidation experience across a wide range of companies and industries. PHIL HOLDEN, President
Phil Holden, with over three
decades of experience with sale promotions in
the jewelry liquidation industry, leads The Gordon
Company's jewelry operation.
Early in his career he was part of the management
team at Schwarzschild Jewelers in Richmond, VA,
and then spent over 20 years with Gordon Brothers
Group as Director of Operations, leading a wide
variety of liquidations and special event sales
for some of the country's most prestigious stores.
Now as a partner with The Gordon Company, Phil's extensive
background and expertise allows him to deliver
results through highly effective, individually
tailored strategic plans for clients looking
to retire of to turn unproductive assets in to
cash. Phil's exceptional reputation is further
illustrated by the fact clients with on going
operations call upon Phil whenever they need
promotional assistance that falls outside their
usual course of business. Capitalizing on established
relationships, operational excellence, and a
team of seasoned veterans, Phil creates a professional
and responsive plan specifically designed to
meet each client's needs and maximize their net
returns. Phil attended N.C. State University
and is a graduate gemologist of the Gemological

Ira
Bergman, Director of Business
Development
Ira Bergman works closely with
both retail jewelers and vendors on critical issues
relating to strategic planning and asset management.
He brings a lifetime of experience to bear on helping
clients solve problems concerning sales growth,
ROI, inventory reduction and major transitions.
Bergman began his career at the Mercury Ring Corporation,
a manufacturer of diamond and bridal jewelry founded
by his father in 1944. In the 1980s, he joined
M. Fabrikant & Sons as an executive vice president,
leaving the day-to-day management of Mercury Ring
Corporation in the capable hands of his wife Phyllis.
As executive vice president and later president
of Fabrikant's jewelry division, Bergman managed
sales programs that consistently exceeded sales
and profitability targets, and oversaw all business
development functions, including new product rollouts,
key account management, customer relations and
contract negotiations. The multi-year business
plan he created during his tenure as president
resulted in an increase of net sales by $150 million
and increased profitability through improved customer
relationship management programs. He is a member
of the 24 Karat Club of New York, a former board
member of the Plumb Club and Manufacturing Jewelers
Association. |

GORDON, Senior Advisor
Philip Gordon has 50+ years
of experience in the liquidation industry. He previously
led Gordon Brothers Group, holding the positions
of President, Chairman, and Chairman Emeritus,
and structuring customized sales across hundreds
of companies. He is now the Senior Advisor to The
Gordon Company, Inc. |
